If
you publish a newsletter then you know it can be a challenge to
generate new articles for your newsletters every week or month.
Emails lists or email groups solve this problem by providing free
articles for your newsletter or Web site.
And
if you are writing articles and want to get exposure to your articles,
mailing lists gives you access to many ezine owners who are looking
for articles for their ezines.
Here's
how to submit articles to mailing lists.
1.
Sign up for a Yahoo account (if you don't have one). There are
other places you can submit articles to but Yahoo is a good place
to start.
2.
Subscribe to some of the Yahoo groups by sending an email to the
subscription addresses below. Make sure you send the email from
the email address you are going to submit articles from. Create
a new email address. Articles announcement groups will send all
their articles to the email address you use to submit your articles
to to them. Expect a lot of email.
3.
You'll get an email back from each group you subscribed to asking
you to confirm your subscription. Confirm your subscription by
replying to the email message.
4.
Format your articles following their instructions. (My article
template below will work for most of them)
5.
Create email groups, combining related email addresses so you
don't have to send your article to each one separately. I usually
combine 4 to 5 articles. If you combine more than 5, some will
consider your email spam and they may not accept your articles.
6.
Send out your articles from the email address you used to subscribe
to the list.
IMPORTANT
• Create an email address specifically
for your subsciptions. You will be bombarded with emails
so you don't want to clutter up your main email address.
• Use this special email address to
subscribe to the mailing lists.
• Send out your articles from the
email address you used to subscribe.

How
to link your url and email address in article submission (and
any email message).
To
link your URL in a plain text email, all you need to do is have
http:// in front of the web address. For example, http://www.qualityebookcovers.com
will appear as a hyperlink in an email.
To
hyperlink your email, put mailto: in front of your email address.

Submission Services Will Save You Time!
You can
send out your articles yourself but it's time-consuming
to keep track of the ever-changing mailing lists. You also
have to read their rules and regulations and find out what
topics they accept.
I'd rather
spend my time marketing and promoting my existing Web sites
and creating new Web sites.
An article
submission site does all the work for you. Article
Marketer is the submission service I use myself. Their
services are very reasonable. I find it very convenient
and get great results. GO to http://www.qualityebookcovers.com/article-marketer.html
